Samsung rolls out round Apple Watch rivalAugust 14, 2015 - 13:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung is coming for Apple Watch as the Korean manufacturer officially debuts its first round smartwatch, the Samsung Gear S2, Digital Spy reveals. A Tizen-powered challenger to the likes of the Moto 360 and LG G Watch R, the Samsung Gear S2 features a previously unseen UI that on first impressions looks set to make smartwatch navigation a whole lot easier. Despite having officially announced its upcoming Apple Watch rival, Samsung has remained tight-lipped on the wearable's intimate details. Giving a brief introduction to the timepiece, Samsung has confirmed that the smartwatch will be the subject of a detailed showing at a dedicated launch event during IFA 2015 on September 3. All we know of the device so far is that it will play host to a stunning, brushed metal body and a colour touchscreen LCD display.
