Meryl Streep gets guitar lesson from Neil Young for her film role

PanARMENIAN.Net - Meryl Streep said before that she had got a guitar lesson from Neil Young for her role in the movie "Ricki and the Flash". Now a video capturing their impromptu session at the Jacob Burns Film Center has landed online, AceShowbiz reports.

"Turn everything all the way up, that's what you always do. No matter what they give you, just turn it all up," the musician says before demonstrating how to turn the instrument into a roaring beast. Streep responds by bowing to him.

In the movie coming out August 7, Streep stars as Ricki Rendazzo, a guitar heroine who made a world of mistakes as she followed her dreams of rock-and-roll stardom. Returning home, she gets a shot at redemption and a chance to make things right as she faces the music with her family.
