Apple’s long-rumored iPad Pro “on its way”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Another day, another Apple rumour - this one surrounding the company's long-anticipated oversized slate, the iPad Pro. A device long tipped to join the Air and mini as part of Apple's tablet line-up, the iPad Pro will reportedly enter mass production in early October ahead of a global launch shortly before the year's end. At least that's according to reputed industry analyst and serial Apple tipster, Ming-Chi Kuo, Digital Spy reports.

The KGI Securities analyst has told MacRumors that not only is the much mooted slate finally set to enter the realms of reality later this year, but it will come rocking an oversized version of the Force Touch display found on the Apple Watch.

What's more, it has been claimed the Force Touch panel will play nice with an accompanying stylus.

Such a move would give the device a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 or Samsung Galaxy Note 5 feel.

According to the flurry of speculation that continues to surround the as-yet unconfirmed device, the iPad Pro will feature a 12.9-inch display, up on the iPad Air's 9.7-inch panel.

The device has also been tipped to come running Apple's upcoming iOS 9 operating system and the same A9 chip expected to feature in the iPhone 6S.
