Matt Damon's “The Martian” new pic gives an inside look at spaceshipAugust 26, 2015 - 14:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - After a series of trailers and movie stills have been debuted online, 20th Century Fox releases two pictures of "The Martian", which give a look at Matt Damon's character, through the latest issue of Empire magazine. The first photo features Damon's Mark Watney floating on air in a spaceship while the second picture shows him wearing a space suit underwater, AceShowbiz reports. The first image seems to be an on-set photo as it shows a cameraman and other crew members helping Damon do the action. It also reveals an inside look at the white sophisticated spaceship. Meanwhile, the second image looks a little bit odd considering the story of the movie which centers on an astronaut who is stranded in Mars. "The Martian" follows Watney who is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. With only meager supplies, he survives and has to find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive. Damon leads the cast which also include Jessica Chastain, Kate Mara, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sean Bean and Kristen Wiig. Ridley Scott serves behind the lens and also produces the movie alongside Simon Kinberg and Aditya Sood. With the script written by Drew Goddard, the sci-fi movie is slated for a release in North America on October 2.
