While the previous trailer focuses on Dylan Minnette as a boy whose life takes a weird turn after moving into a small city, the new trailer highlights Jack Black's role as famous author R.L. Stine, AceShowbiz reports. The trailer opens with Stine giving a lecture. "Hello, my name is Mr. R.L. Stine. Every story ever told can be broken down into three parts, the beginning, the middle, and the twist," he says. According to him, the beginning is about finding a new place to live, the middle is about getting along together with neighbors and the most interesting is the twist, when something extraordinary happens. The twist in the film is when magical creatures which are imprisoned in the "Goosebumps" books created by Stine's imagination are finally unleashed and come to life. It's suddenly up to Stine, his daughter Hannah (Odeya Rush) and Zach (Minnette) to get all of them back in the books where they belong. "Goosebumps" is based on Stine's teenage novel of the same name. Black leads the cast which include Halston Sage, Ken Marino, Amy Ryan, Jillian Bell, Ryan Lee, Timothy Simons and Steven Krueger.
