Google brings Android Wear support to iPhone

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Apple Watch now has some serious competition following confirmation that Google has brought Android Wear support to iPhone, according to Digital Spy.

Only three Android Wear smartwatches are compatible with the iOS Android Wear app - the LG Watch Urbane and the upcoming Huawei Watch and ASUS ZenWatch 2.

Users need to be on iOS 8.2 and an iPhone that is less than three years old - in other words, an iPhone 5 or better.

To sync the Watch Urbane with an iOS device, download the Android Wear app and follow the instructions on screen.

The watch must be unpaired if it has previously been used with an Android smartphone.

Google has confirmed that Motorola smartwatches will work with iPhones in the future, hinting at compatibility with the forthcoming Moto 360 2.
