PanARMENIAN.Net - Ansel Elgort is taking a CIA agent role in his new movie. "The Fault in Our Stars" actor is joining "Code Name Veil" which is directed by "Kill the Messenger" helmer Michael Cuesta, AceShowbiz reports.

Per THR, the drama puts Elgort as a rookie CIA agent who investigates the attacks against the U.S. Embassy and Marine barracks during the bombings in Beirut in 1983. When his station chief is taken hostage, the young and inexperienced agent finds himself turning to desperate measures to save his mentor.

The film was inspired by real events. Cuesta is directing from Matt Billingsly's 2008 Black List script. Principal photography begins in Los Angeles on November 2.

Elgort has been high on the list of most wanted actors since his breakthrough performance in "Fault in Our Stars". He's also preparing to work on Edgar Wright's new film, "Baby Driver", and will next be seen in the "Divergent" franchise's "Allegiant - Part 1".
