El Vy indie rock project unveils new track, “I'm The Man To Be” (video) September 4, 2015 - 19:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - El Vy, the most exciting side-project of the year from The National's Matt Berninger Brent Knopf of Menomena/Ramona Falls, have unveiled another brilliant new track, 'I'm The Man To Be', Gigwise reports. After revealing launch and title track 'Return To The Moon' from their upcoming album, 'I'm The Man To Be' is another departure from Berninger's normal sound. Amplified by Knopf's immaculate and tight production, 'I'm The Man To Be' is driven by a rumbling bassline and a menacingly funky guitar part while Berninger remains ever playful with his words: “Erin Brockovich is not my wife/ I’m such a baby I could totally cry/ My hands are so sticky and my belt’s too tight.” EL VY release their debut album Return To The Moon on 30 October, before a full European tour.
