Photos of Nokia’s first Android smartphone leak online

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nokia’s first Android smartphone, the Nokia C1, has been leaked in a new set of 3-D renders, revealing a top of the range handset that could arrive next year, Rapid News Network reports.

For many months now there has been speculation about Nokia re-entering the smartphone space in 2016, after the non-compete clause embedded in the sale of its smartphone division to Microsoft expires.

Nevertheless, it remains a silently acceptable fact that Nokia is working on a new Android smartphone.

While most details about the Nokia C1 smartphone remain under wraps, the highly anticipated device is expected to sport a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

New renders of Nokia’s Android smartphone codenamed Nokia 1100 have now appeared online, indicating that the upcoming device would deliver a much more powerful and improved Android experience than the current Nokia X and Nokia XL smartphones. That’s the reason why we got a little bit surprised by the Android-powered tablet, the Nokia N1, which clearly showed the company’s intention of launching a crusade onto the Android scene. The same source also cites an Intel Atom chipset, 2GB of RAM, and says that it will be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, although we should stress that this is all unconfirmed at this point.

After lots of denial from the side of Finnish company Nokia, the first handset from Nokia dubbed C1 has been spotted on the Internet.
