Apple’s iPhone 6S tipped for major display upgrade

PanARMENIAN.Net - Leaks continue to flood in ahead of the iPhone 6S release, Digital Spy reports.

The latest rumours have appeared on Chinese social network Weibo, and they suggest both the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are in for major display upgrades.

The 4.7-inch model apparently boasts a 1125 x 2000 display with 488 pixels-per-inch, a big improvement on the iPhone 6's 750 x 1334 resolution screen with 326ppi.

Apple is also said to have crammed a 1242 x 2208 screen with a 466ppi count into the iPhone 6S Plus, bumping it up from 1080 x 1920 and 401ppi.

The latest leak also cites benchmarking test scores as proof that the iPhone 6S will pack a 1.8GHz A9 SoC processor with 2GB of RAM under the hood.
