PanARMENIAN.Net - If the latest tidbit from the set of "Game of Thrones" season 6 is to be trusted, then fans can rest assured that Jon Snow is still alive. Fansite Watchers on the Wall recently received information from sources who said that Kit Harington was spotted filming a huge battle scene in Saintfield, Northern Ireland.

The scene, presumed for episode 9, reportedly involves [SPOILER ALERT!] Stark bannermen the Umbers, the Boltons and wildlings. This means that Jon Snow not only survives the stabbing by his Night's Watch brothers in the fifth season finale, but he also takes the wildlings to attack the Boltons and reclaim Winterfell.

Speculation about Jon Snow's fate has been one of the most debated topics among "Game of Thrones" fans following the season 5 finale cliffhanger. While Harington insisted his character's "quite dead," numerous evidences have emerged showing him back on set of the medieval drama series.

The new season of the hit medieval series will air in 2016 on HBO. Ian McShane, Pilou Asbaek (Euron Greyjoy), Max von Sydow (the Three-Eyed Raven), Freddie Stroma (Dickon Tarly) and Richard E. Grant are among new additions to the cast.
