Lady Gaga unveils harrowing video “Till It Happens to You” (video) September 21, 2015 - 18:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Lady Gaga has released a harrowing and powerful video about sexual assault on college campuses, Digital Spy reports. 'Till It Happens to You' was written for the documentary The Hunting Ground, which was released in the U.S. back in February, and the track now features in a new PSA video. Twilight's Catherine Hardwicke has directed the PSA, which features Nikki Reed as one of the victims of sexual assault. "After watching The Hunting Ground, I was inspired by the survivors who had the courage to tell their stories," Warren told Deadline. "This song, with its message of hope and empowerment, is my heartfelt tribute to them and will also resonate with anyone who has been bullied, lost a loved one or just feels alone in the world." Hardwicke added: "I hope that this PSA, with its raw and truthful portrayals, will send a clear message that we need to support these courageous survivors and end this epidemic plaguing our college campuses." Gaga has pledged that a proportion of proceeds from sales of 'Till It Happens To You' will be donated to organisations helping survivors of rape and sexual assault. "We hope you feel our love and solidarity through the song and perhaps find some peace in knowing you are not alone through this film," she wrote on Twitter.
