Armenian pavilion target of Azerbaijani aggression at Beijing Biennale

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian pavilion at 6th Beijing International Art Biennale did not open on September 24, contrary to what was planned, Dreamscapes, Armenia’s entry to the Biennale said in a Facebook post.

“Our organizers think this is the best decision for security reasons due to some visitors’ aggressive behavior,” the statement reads.

According to a previous post by Dreamscapes, Azerbaijani officials have been disrupting the working process in the Armenian pavilion.

Five countries, including Armenia, have been selected to showcase a special exhibit at the Beijing Biennale. Dreamscapes, a special exhibition that explores the biennial theme “Memories and Dreams” through the metaphorical and physical landscape is representing Armenia.
