Fossil unveils 1st look at its debut Android Wear smartwatchSeptember 29, 2015 - 10:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Fossil has just offered a first look at the Android Wear smartwatch it's been working on in collaboration with Google and Intel, according to Digital Spy. The fashionable watch brand will launch its Fossil Q wearable alongside a smart bracelet and a "non-display" watch - and no, we're not sure what the latter is either, Digital Spy said. Each of the devices is capable of tracking steps taken, and calories burned, while some of them will offer notifications. Fossil claims that its Q range will be compatible with iOS, Android and Windows devices, but we'd be surprised if the Android Wear watch was compatible with any of Microsoft's operating systems as that would be a first. The devices should be available in stores before Christmas, but launch territories and pricing are yet to be confirmed. Fossil isn't the only watch maker to have forged an alliance with Google and Intel, as Tag Heuer has also enlisted the help of the tech titans for a smartwatch project.
