Defense Ministry personnel attending training courses at MicrosoftSeptember 30, 2015 - 15:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Defense Ministry delegation led by Deputy Minister Ara Nazaryan visited on September 23-25 a Microsoft office in the United States. The visit was organized in the framework of agreement on the governmental security program between the Armenian government and Microsoft, a Defense Ministry statement reports. During the visit, the delegation members visited Microsoft’s new headquarters for the fight against cybercrime and the company’s data center, met with Vice President Vahé Torossian and other Microsoft representatives. The parties discussed issues concerning the development of Armenia's cyber security program, as well as the possible assistance by as well as Microsoft’s possible assistance in training the Defense Ministry personnel. Pursuant to the contract, technical services representatives of Defense Ministry and of other Armenian agencies are attending training courses at Microsoft educational center on September 28-30.
