New French Ambassador arrived in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Newly appointed French Ambassador to Armenia Serge Smessov handed the copy of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian today, reported the RA MFA press office. Amb. Smessov said he familiarized with the situation in the CIS in the course of his diplomatic activity. The interlocutors also touched upon the agenda of bilateral relations and stressed the importance of strengthening partnership between Armenia and France. Serge Smessov has served as deputy director of the Continental Europe Department at the French Foreign Ministry since 2003.
