Google Play to get a facelift on Android devicesOctober 20, 2015 - 12:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Google Play is about to look much shinier on your Android device following confirmation that the web giant is giving the service a fresh lick of paint, Digital Spy reports. The firm is yet to officially announce the overhaul, but Google engineer Kirill Grouchnikov let the cat out of the bag on his Google+ profile. As seen in the image above, the new Google Play has a more colourful layout with improved navigation that makes it easier to switch between sections. There's also a new highlights banner at the top of the screen which displays recommended content more prominently. Reports suggest that the design has already been rolled out in some parts of the world, but this is a change at Google's end, rather than an update to the app. It remains to be seen whether changes are also coming to the web-based version of Google Play.
