Abdic is the therapist who becomes a suspect in the film's mystery involving the disappearance of the young woman with whom he is having an affair. Blunt plays a hard-drinking divorcee in the film, which is told from the point of view of Blunt's character, who spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who lives in a house that her train passes every day. Rebecca Ferguson and Haley Bennett also star. Tate Taylor is set to direct the Erin Cressida Wilson-written script, which was adapted from the Paula Hawkins novel of the same name. Marc Platt is producing the DreamWorks film, with Jared LeBoff and Celia Costas as executive producers. Ramirez is going to have a busy holiday season. His film Point Break comes out Christmas Day, and so does David O. Russell's Joy, in which the actor stars opposite Jennifer Lawrence.
