Westminster Abbey service to commemorate Genocide martyrs

PanARMENIAN.Net - A Service of Commemoration of the Armenian martyrs of 1915 will be held at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday, October 28, Public Radio of Armenia reports.

The service will be attended by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, Armen Sarkissian, Armenian ambassador to the Court of St James, and members of the Armenian Government.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and UK Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport John Whittingdale discussed preparations for the event at a meeting in London last month.
