Kidman will play a woman whose husband has an affair with his best friend’s twenty-something daughter. When she finds out, she plots his murder. Billy Ray wrote the script, which offers the kind of sexual intrigue that Lyne has been attracted to throughout his career, from “9 1/2 Weeks” and “Fatal Attraction” to “Indecent Proposal” and his last feature film, 2002’s “Unfaithful.” Kidman and Lyne are expected to produce with Paula Mazur, Mitchell Kaplan and Kidman’s Blossom Films partner Per Saari. FilmNation will begin shopping the project to international buyer at the upcoming American Film Market, while CAA will handle domestic rights.
