Located in the town of Vahagnadzor, Lori, the camp was opened 57 years ago, hosting about 1200 children aged 7-16 each year, mostly coming from Armenian border villages. “Computer skills are nowadays essential for studying, researching and keeping in touch with friends,” VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian said. “Establishing a computer class will help children communicate with their peers from other regions and simultaneously attend a short introductory computer literacy course.” VivaCell-MTS works to contribute to the development of rural areas and border villages, in particular.
