“My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2” debuts 1st trailer

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first look at “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2” debuted Wednesday, November 11 on NBC’s “Today” show, and the family America fell in love with back in 2002 hasn’t changed much, TheWrap reports.

The trailer shows Toula (Nia Vardalos) and Ian (John Corbett) trying to find some time to themselves as their daughter Paris prepares to head to college far, far away from her overprotective relatives. They’re always around, whether it comes to volleyball games or when Toula and Ian attempt to become intimate.

“My family is still too close!” Toula complains in the preview.

The plot involves the rest of Portokalos family coming together again for an even bigger, fatter wedding where a family secret will be revealed.

Kirk Jones is directing “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2,” which will be produced by Rita Wilson and Playtone partners Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman, and executive produced by Paul Brooks, Scott Niemeyer, Steven Shareshian and Vardalos.

The comedy will hit theaters on March 25. Co-stars include Michael Constantine, Lainie Kazan, Andrea Martin, Gia Carides, Elena Kampouris, Louis Mandylor, Alex Wolff, and John Stamos.
