Apple Watch tipped for June releaseNovember 14, 2015 - 16:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - You might want to cross the Apple Watch off your Christmas wish list, as new reports have suggested a second-gen wearable could be on its way. According to apparent supply chain sources, the eagerly-awaited Apple Watch 2 will be unveiled in late Q2 2016, Digital Spy reports. With the year's second quarter running between April 1 and June 30, the end of this timeframe would seemingly point to a June reveal, potentially during the company's annual WWDC developer conference. The report, which comes from China's United Daily News, cites Barry Lam, Chairman of Quanta, the company tasked with piecing together the original Apple Watch, as the source of the leak. It has been suggested that the late Q2 showcase would be followed by an Apple Watch 2 release date in early Q3. If accurate, that would see the Apple Watch 2 hit retailers a little over a year after the company's debut wearable. It is currently unclear what new features or design changes the reworked wearable will play host to.
