Coldplay covers John Lennon's “Imagine” for Paris at L.A. concert

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the wake of the devastating incident that killed and injured many in Paris, Coldplay paid homage to the victims in a Los Angeles concert. Chris Martin and his bandmates held a moment of silence and then played a stripped-down rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine", AceShowbiz reports.

The concert on Friday night, November 13 was supposed to be live-streamed but the plan was scrapped in the wake of the horrifying terrorist attacks. The gig will be rescheduled but the band still performed an acoustic short set for those who had already en route to the Belasco Theatre.

"Tonight's live stream for TIDAL & KROQ has been postponed out of respect for the terrible events in Paris," the British group said in a statement. We send our love and prayers to the people of Paris."
