PanARMENIAN.Net - After production for "Wonder Woman" kicked off, Gal Gadot took to Twitter to give an official sneak peek at herself as DC Comics' most famous superheroine a.k.a. Diana Prince, AceShowbiz reports. She wears a dark cloak and Big Ben stands tall in the background. "Almost 75 years in the making ... #WonderWoman is underway," so she wrote.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros. reveals a series of actors joining the cast ensemble. They are Robin Wright ("House of Cards"), Danny Huston ("X-Men Origins: Wolverine"), David Thewlis ("Harry Potter" films), Ewen Bremner ("Exodus: Gods and Kings"), Elena Anaya ("The Skin I Live In"), and Lucy Davis ("Shaun of the Dead").

Their roles are still kept under wraps. They are joined by Chris Pine who has been confirmed to play Diana's love interest Steve Trevor. Said Taghmaoui ("American Hustle") is also among the cast members. He has posted a set picture that showed him posing with Pine in their costumes.

Set to open in 2017, the Wonder Woman feature film is based on characters created by William Moulton Marston. Principal photography will take place on location in the UK, France, and Italy. It will mark the character's first time headlining a feature, but she will make her big screen debut this spring in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
