Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. in “Captain America: Civil War” trailer (video) November 26, 2015 - 11:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. made a special appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Tuesday, November 24 to coincide with the release of the first trailer for Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War”, TheWrap reports. In the teaser, fans see Captain America and Iron Man on opposite sides as global governments try to regulate superheroes. “There are some who prefer the word vigilante,” William Hurt as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross tells our heroes. “You’ve operated with unlimited power and no supervision. That’s something the world can no longer tolerate. There will be consequences.” “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers (Evans) leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps — one led by Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s (Downey Jr. ) surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. “I simply want to punch you in your perfect teeth,” Stark later tells Rogers. The film also stars Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Frank Grillo and Daniel Brühl. It is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with producer Kevin Feige and executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Nate Moore and Stan Lee. Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” opens in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2016. Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
