Broad Green Pictures to nab “The Killer’s Game” thriller novel adaptation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Broad Green Pictures is in talks to acquire distribution rights to the upcoming movie thriller “The Killer’s Game”, Variety has learned exclusively.

Andrew Lazar is producing “The Killer’s Game,” based on the Jay Bonansinga novel of the same name, which follows a Chicago hitman who’s diagnosed with cancer and decides to take out a hit on himself rather than suffer a slow and painful death. Problems arise when he discovers he was misdiagnosed and is actually in perfect health.

Broad Green, operated by brothers Daniel and Gabriel Hammond, has been focused on adult-oriented dramas with “A Walk in the Woods,” “I Smile Back” and “99 Homes” among its notable first releases. It also signed a deal with “Straight Outta Compton” producer Matt Alvarez in October to bring him on as an in-house producer.
