The Flickr app for Samsung's Gear VR now lets users browse through its new collection of equirectangular 'VR Photos'. The collection includes a huge range of landscape images, with everything from the Aurora Borealis to the Grand Canyon getting the 360 treatment. Flickr announced it would expand its collection of virtual reality content back in September. Bertrand Fan, an engineer with the company, told Engadget that Flickr was expecting a "burgeoning community" to build up around virtual reality. The developments follow Flickr's radical overhaul which took place this year. Photo: Mashable Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
