England’s Isle of Wight Festival announces 14 more acts December 18, 2015 - 15:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Isle of Wight Festival has announced 14 more acts to the bill. Following the recent announcement of 40 Years of Punk lineup with 1970s and 1980s artists such as Iggy Pop, Adam Ant, and The Buzzcocks, Isle of Wight Festival organiser John Giddings has just announced a further 14 acts. The festival, which takes place at Seaclose Park from Thursday 9 June to Sunday 12 June in 2016, will be host to a variety of established and up and coming artists. The artists include Jess Glynne, Sigma, Pendulum (DJ set), The Corrs, Busted, Twin Atlantic, Half Moon Run, Gabrielle Aplin, The High Kings, Reverend And The Makers, The Wonder Stuff, Sixx Am, Lissie, and The Family Rain. Glynne, who was set to perform last year at Seaclose Park, pulled out to have emergency surgery on her vocal chords, and said: "I’m heartbroken. I'm so sad to miss these shows and festivals with and for people I love but the doctors have told me I need the operation or I risk damaging my vocal cords. I'm scared but I'm in with the best specialist who tells me I'll be back singing better than before." The festival will also show England's Euro 2016 match against Russia on the Saturday within the Field of Dreams. The current lineup will join Friday headliners Stereophonics and Faithless, and Sunday's Queen and Adam Lambert.
