Fist teaser for David Lynch’s

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first teaser trailer for Showtime's "Twin Peaks" revival has arrived online for viewing pleasure. The approximately 50-second snippet is scheduled to air during the season finales of "Homeland" and "The Affair" this Sunday, December 19, AceShowbiz reports.

"Location sometimes becomes a character," Michael Horse, who played Deputy Hawk on the series, says in the sneak-peek. "There are a lot of holy places up here, a lot of sacred places. I can't put my finger on how I would describe it. It just touches something in the psyche. It's almost like being in a moving painting."

Near the end of the video, some people can be seen carrying a welcome sign with the population number that probably needs to be changed. "Welcome to Twin Peaks," reads the sign, "Population 51,201."

"Twin Peaks" revival continues twenty-years after the original 1990-91 series. The 18-episode show is currently in production and will premiere in 2017. It is written and produced by series creators and executive producers David Lynch and Mark Frost and is directed entirely by Lynch.

Original cast members like Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Dana Ashbrook and Sherilyn Fenn returning to reprise their roles, FBI Agent Dale Cooper, Laura Palmer, Bobby Briggs, Audrey Home. Amanda Seyfried, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Robert Knepper are also set to join the series.
