Armenian, Russian Foreign Ministries hold security consultations

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Russian Foreign Ministry hosted Monday, December 21, Armenian-Russian political consultations on a wide range of security issues.

At the meeting, the parties discussed topics related to zones free of nuclear weapons, the revision of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, as well as the conventional arms control in Europe.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with their efficient cooperation within international structures. Also, the parties stressed the importance of periodic consultations to compare and clarify positions, noting the need for continuation thereof.
