Skrillex's feel-food “Stranger” remix vid hits the web (video) December 28, 2015 - 14:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On Christmas, Skrillex unwrapped his new remix of "Stranger", a cut off the producer's 2014 album Recess, Rolling Stone reports. In addition to his ethereal new rendition of the track, Skrillex also shared the remix's feel-good music video, starring a group of underprivileged kids celebrating the holidays in fun, destructive ways: Smashing old televisions with guitars, lighting junked cars on fire and having races with smoke grenades tied to their back. The "Stranger" remix is a collaboration between Skrillex, Tennyson and White Sea with vocals by Sam Dew, who sang on the original version. Keeping with the holiday spirit of the remix's Andrew Donoho-directed video, Skrillex is offering up "Stranger" as a "pay what you want" download on his official website, with 100 percent of proceeds from the song split among three charities that specialize in serving children in need: the Boys & Girls Club of America, Bridges for Music and the Jhamtse Gatsal Children's Community. "Stranger" comes less than a month after Skrillex dropped his nightmarish "Red Lips" video, where he served as the video's co-writer, producer and editor.
