Guns N' Roses, Calvin Harris to headline Coachella 2016

PanARMENIAN.Net - Guns N' Roses are officially reuniting for the 2016 Coachella. Following reports that the band's original members including Axl Rose and Slash would take the stage together, it's announced on Monday, January 4 that they would headline the annual festival alongside LCD Soundsystem and Calvin Harris, AceShowbiz reports.

The veteran rock group's headlining set is scheduled for Saturday, April 16 and 23. Other acts slated to perform on the same days include Zedd, A$AP Rocky, CHVRCHES, Halsey, James Bay, Run the Jewels, Gary Clark Jr., Vince Staples and SZA.

LCD Soundsystem, meanwhile, will kick off the two-weekend, three-day event on Friday, April 15 and return on April 22. Those two days will also feature the likes of Ellie Goulding, Sufjan Stevens, Jack U a.k.a.Skrillex and Diplo, G-Eazy, Joey Bada$$, DJ Mustard and Years & Years.

As for Harris, the first EDM artist to serve as a Coachella headliner, he will make appearances on Sunday, April 17 and 24 along with Sia Furler, Major Lazer, Flume, The 1975, Chris Stapleton, The Chainsmokers, Alessia Cara and Hudson Mohawke among others.

This year's Coachella will return to Indio, California. This won't be the first time a group has reunited at the festival. The members of Outkast performed together for the first time in years at the event's 2014 edition.
