Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora unveils “Conqueror”

PanARMENIAN.Net - The brilliant Aurora has revealed an equally brilliant new single, 'Conqueror', Gigwise said.

“We'd been championing the Norwegian teen for some time when she was chosen to cover Oasis' 'Half The World Away' for this Christmas' John Lewis advert. Though the poignant cover certainly helped raise lift her into the public's consciousness, it's her original material that we've always been excited about,” Gigwise said.

'Conqueror' is a slighty re-worked version of a song she released last year, with clattering drum beats building towards a euphoric chorus: "I've been looking for the Conqueror, but you don't seem to come my way."

'Conqueror' is taken from Aurora's forthcoming album, All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend, which is set for release on 11 March. It follows the likes of 'Runaway' and '5,4,3,2,1 (Murder Song)'.

Aurora has two UK shows lined up for next month:

Monday 1 February - Deaf Institute, Manchester Tuesday 2 February - Union Chapel, London
