New Green Day album on the way, Instagram post suggestsJanuary 20, 2016 - 14:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - It looks like Green Day are working on a new album - if an Instagram post from Billie Joe Armstrong is anything to go by, Gigwise said. The band had been pretty quiet since releasing their eleventh album, Tre, in 2012. On Christmas Eve though, they surprise released a Christmas single, 'Xmas Time Of The Year' - their first new music in three years. Now, in a photo simply captioned, "January 2016", Armstrong is wearing headphones and standing behind a microphone in what looks like a recording studio. There's really only so many things this can mean. As NME reports, back in April of last year, the band's long-time producer Rob Cavallo said the band already have five new tracks in the bag: "Let me tell you, they were just fantastic.
