OSCE envoy vows appropriate steps to tackle Karabakh escalation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met Thursday, January 21 with Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, the Ministry’s press service reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azeri border and the contact line between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh.

Ohanyan briefed Kasprzyk on Azerbaijan’s recent provocations and Armenia’s subsequent retaliation, stressing the need for mechanisms to investigate border incidents to better control the situation.

Ambassador Kasprzyk, in turn, expressed concern over the escalation, pledging to take appropriate steps.
