Arcade Fire announce two massive European Festival shows

PanARMENIAN.Net - Get excited, Arcade Fire fans - they're back, with the Reflektor stars announcing their return to the road with festival tour dates calling at two massive European Festivals this summer, Gigwise said.

Fans have been patiently awaiting their return, after Arcade Fire teased fans by suggesting they'd be playing live again soon by offering VIP tickets as part of a charity campaign.

Well, 2016 looks to be a huge year for Arcade Fire - with the band hopefully airing new material as they play exclusive shows at Portugal's Nos Alive and Spain's Bilbao BBK.

They'll headline Nos Alive alongside Radiohead - also featuring performances from The Chemical Brothers, Hot Chip, Tame Impala, Courtney Barnett, John Grant, The 1975, Pixies, Foals, M83, Wolf Alice and Years & Years. Nos Alive takes place from 7-9 July in Lisbon, Portugal.

Meanwhile, they're also performing at Bilbao BBK Live, headlining with Foals at the Spanish bash, with performances from Pixies, M83, New Order, Hot Chip, Years & Years, Courtney Barnett and Wolf Alice. Bilbao BBK Live takes place in Bilbao, Spain from 7-9 July.

Speaking of progress on new material back in September, instrumentalist Will Butler told NME: "We're all itching to play music together and start recording things. We're basically in the demo and play together phase, and historically that's led to realising that, surprisingly, we're 30 per cent into a record, so we'll see if that happens."
