Alt-rock band Pixies announce one-off shows in London, Ireland

PanARMENIAN.Net - Get ready for a pretty loud summer, as Pixies are hitting the road - announcing special one-off shows in London and Ireland, Gigwise said.

The 'Where's My Mind' alt-rock heroes, who released their last album Indie Cindy back in 2014 after the departure of bassist Kim Deal, are said to have been working on new material. Hopefully they'll air this along with their catalogue of bona fide classics during their handful of summer dates, when they call in at London and Ireland for select shows this July, Gigwise said.

Pixies will play: Mon July 11 2016 - LONDON O2 Academy Brixton Wed July 13 2016 - CORK Live at the Marquee Thu July 14 2016 - DUBLIN Iveagh Gardens

Recent years have also seen the band re-release their classic album Doolittle and tour with Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant, while Kim Deal has been releasing solo material.
