During a meeting with Iranian ambassador to Armenia Seyed Kazzem Sajjadi and the embassy adviser Sopani Par, Yeritsyan briefed the guests on the Ministry’s activities, stressing the sectors that could be useful in bolstering Yerevan-Tehran cooperation. The Minister also presented the results of his visit to Iraq, noting that construction of the Iraq-Iran-Armenia road is currently under discussion. Ambassador Sajjadi, in turn, thanked the Minister for his warm welcome, noting that Iran is ready to expand ties with Armenia in all sectors. Also, the parties dwelled upon possible cooperation in the field of seismic protection, organization and implementation of search and rescue operations, as well as prevention of natural and man-made disasters.
