USA Network renews invasion drama “Colony” for 2nd season

PanARMENIAN.Net - Colony is coming back for more. USA Network has renewed the invasion drama for a second season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The pick-up comes just three episodes into the freshman series' run. The order for season two is for 13 episodes, up from the show's 10-episode first season.

From co-creators Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Ryan Condal (Hercules), the series stars Lost alum Josh Holloway and The Walking Dead grad Sarah Wayne Callies as a husband and wife struggling to survive and bring liberty back to the people of Los Angeles following an occupation.

Cuse, Condal and Holloway executive produce the series with Juan Jose Campanella. Colony is a co-production between Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions.
