“Ballers” star Arielle Kebbel joins “Fifty Shades Freed”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Arielle Kebbel, known for her recurring roles on UnREAL and Ballers, has joined the Fifty Shades of Grey threequel Fifty Shades Freed, The Hollywood Reporter reveals.

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, who starred in 2015's Fifty Shades of Grey, will reprise their roles in Universal's sequel, playing Anastasia and billionaire Christian Grey, respectively. In the sequel, Ana starts a new job, and at the same time she's faced with dealing with many of Christian's former flames.

James Foley is directing Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed based on a script by Niall Leonard, author EL James’ husband. Universal has slated Darker, which sees producers Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti and James returning, for release on Feb. 10, 2017. Marcus Viscidi also produces.

Fifty Shades Darker will film back-to-back with the third film in the series, Fifty Shades Freed. Freed, which is based on the third and final book in James' series, centers on Ana and Christian's relationship as it gets more serious. It is slated for release on Feb. 9, 2018.

Kebbel will play Gia Matteo, a beautiful architect who Christian hires to build his home. Ana gives her the nickname "Miss-Provocative-And-Unfortunately-Good-At-Her-Job."

Kebbel, who was also a model, has appeared on a slew of TV shows; in addition to recurring on UnREAL and Ballers, she has also appeared on The Grinder and The League. Her film credits include 2012’s Think Like a Man and the indie Another Time, which is in post. She's repped by Paradigm, Principal Entertainment LA and Hansen, Jacobson.
