“Younger” star Sutton Foster joins “Gilmore Girls” revivalFebruary 11, 2016 - 12:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Stars Hollow is playing host to a Bunheads reunion. Sutton Foster, who starred on the short-lived ABC Family dance series from Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, has signed on for the Netflix revival, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. It's unclear who Foster will play on the upcoming four-episode reboot. She is the first new face to join the extensive list of returning Gilmore Girls castmembers. In addition to previously announced returning stars Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson, Netflix confirmed on Wednesday that Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czuchry, Liza Weil and Yanic Truesdale also will be reprising their roles. (Truesdale, for his part, already broke the news on the day the revival was confirmed and also shared the first behind-the-scenes photo from the set.) Foster starred on Bunheads, Sherman-Palladino's second series after she left Gilmore Girls in 2006 one season before the series went off the air. The ABC Family dramedy lasted one season and saw Foster's character work at a dance studio owned by Bishop's character in a charming small town not dissimilar to the beloved Stars Hollow. Foster currently stars on TV Land's series Younger, which is in the midst of its second season and has already been renewed for season three. There is no premiere date set for Gilmore Girls.
