Melissa McCarthy as a foul mouthed “Boss” in red band trailer (video) February 13, 2016 - 12:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Following the success of "Spy", Melissa McCarthy is hired for another R-rated comedy, "The Boss". In the new film, she plays the self-proclaimed richest woman in America named Michelle Darnell who, after being sent to prison for insider trading, tries to rebrand herself as America's latest sweetheart, AceShowbiz reports. However, she will likely have difficulty establishing her new image. As seen in a new red band trailer debuted by Universal on Friday, February 12, the foul-mouthed lady swears at and in front of everyone she meets, including her assistant, her former colleagues, a group of young girls and Peter Dinklage, whose role is unclear but will involve a sword. "The Boss" reunites McCarthy with her "Tammy" director, and real-life husband, Ben Falcone. The film, set to hit U.S. theaters on April 8, also stars Kristen Bell as Michelle's assistant Claire, Kathy Bates and Cecily Strong among others. McCarthy can also be seen next in Paul Feig's "Ghostbusters" reboot, in which she'll play a member of the iconic team alongside Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth.
