James Blake unveils new song “Modern Soul” (video) February 13, 2016 - 17:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - James Blake is back in a big way - unveiling beautiful new song 'Modern Soul', as well as being announced to headline this year's Field Day festival in London, Gigwise reports. It is believed that Blake will drop his new album this year - after earlier revealing that it features both Kanye West and Bon Iver. It's been a long wait, after announcing last January that the follow-up to the Mercury Prize-winning Overgrown will be called Radio Silence. Now, during his BBC Radio 1 residency, he's unveiled the beautiful new one 'Modern Soul' - a track that harkens back a little to the era of 'The Wilhelm Scream', albeit with a little more of an atmospheric human touch and a whole lot of chill. Meanwhile, he'll also now be headlining the Saturday of London's Field Day, with DJ Champion, Coves, Danny L Harle, Dilly Dally, Fakear, Fickle Friends, Greco-Roman Soundsystem, Loyle Carner, Nimmo, Rejjie Snow and Roots Manuva also joining the line-up. They join the previously announced likes of PJ Harvey, Deerhunter, John Grant, Blossoms, Beach House, Skepta and many more. Field Day takes place at London's Victoria Park from Saturday 11 - Sunday 12 June.
