The territories sold include Airlines (Entertainment in Motion); Hong Kong (Deltamac); Iceland (Myndform); India, Turkey (Tanweer); and Indonesia (PT Prima Cinema), Variety reports. Other sales are to the Middle East (Salim Ramia & Co.); Latin America (California Filmes); Philippines (Pioneer); Scandanavia (Mis.Label); Spain (Avalon); Taiwan (Applause); Thailand, Malaysia (Sahamongokl); and Eastern Europe (Prorom). Mailer directed and produced alongside Diane Fisher, Jennifer Gelfer, Pamela Thur and Martin Tuchman. Foresight’s Mark Damon and Tamara Birkemoe executive produced alongside Baldwin and Mallory Schwartz. Foresight Unlimited and CAA are representing the U.S. rights. Penned by John Buffalo, “Blind,” which is in post-production, tells the story of novelist Bill Oakland (Baldwin), who loses his wife and his sight in a vicious car crash. Five years later socialite Suzanne Dutchman (Moore) is forced to read to Bill in an intimate room three times a week as a plea bargain for being associated with her husband Mark’s (McDermott) insider trading. A passionate affair ensues, forcing both Bill and Suzanne to question whether or not it’s ever too late to find true love. But when Suzanne’s husband is let out on a technicality, she is forced to choose between the man she loves and the man she built a life with. Torn between her old love and her new flame, Suzanne must decide whether she should fall back on the familiar or follow her heart. “Blind” marks the second collaboration between Baldwin and Moore, who starred together in 1996 in Brian Gibson’s “The Juror” and similarly the second joint foray from Mailer and Damon, who collaborated on Matthew Chapman’s “The Ledge,” starring Charlie Hunnam, Terrence Howard and Liv Tyler. Foresight Unlimited also introduced Rob Cohen’s “Category 5,” which saw healthy sales. The Foresight Unlimited slate includes the Neil Bogart biopic “Spinning Gold,” starring Emmy and Grammy Award winner Justin Timberlake, and the $130 million sci-fi epic “Inversion.” Top stories Paris Center Pompidou Musée National d’Art Moderne will host the screening of Sergei Parajanov’s "Triptych" on December 15.
