Sundance Selects nabs Isabelle Huppert’s “Things to Come”February 17, 2016 - 11:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Sundance Selects has acquired the domestic rights to Mia Hansen-Love’s “Things to Come”, the distribution company announced Monday, February 15, TheWrap reveals. The film starring Isabelle Huppert had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival. The acquisition marks the third Hansen-Love film Sundance Selects has released, following “The Father of my Children” and “Goodbye First Love.” “Things to Come” follows a married philosophy professor whose life revolves around books. When her husband leaves her and her mother passes away, she is left alone with a life full of possibilities. “Anchored by a deeply moving performance by the incomparable Isabelle Huppert, ‘Things to Come’ is a profoundly moving film with universal themes about life and loss,” said Jonathan Sehring, president of Sundance Selects/IFC Films. “We are thrilled to be working again with Charles as well as with Mia who is fast becoming one of the world’s great auteurs.” The deal was negotiated by Arianna Bocco, senior vice president of acquisitions from Sundance Selects/IFC Films, with Vincent on behalf of the filmmakers.
