Keanu Reeves’s "John Wick 2" gets new title, release date

PanARMENIAN.Net - Following the success of 2014's "John Wick", we're now eagerly waiting for the movie's follow-up. Keanu Reeves is set to return for the sequel, which has just been revealed will be titled "John Wick: Chapter Two" and released in the U.S. on February 10, 2017, AceShowbiz reports.

The new details were unwrapped on Twitter Thursday, February 18 by Exhibitor Relations, which also shared some info about what the upcoming film would offer. "Keanu Reeves will travel to Rome to kick some Italian ass as JOHN WICK: CHAPTER TWO drops 2/10/17," read the tweet.

"John Wick 2" is opening against "Fifty Shades Darker", "The Lego Batman Movie" and "The Mountain Between Us". It will also bring back some actors from the first movie like Bridget Moynahan, John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick and Ian McShane. They're going to be joined by new cast members including Common, Ruby Rose, Peter Stormare and Laurence Fishburne.

Chad Stahelski, who co-directed the first movie with screenwriter Derek Kolstad, is returning behind the lens. Filming is due to begin this week.
