HoloLens' 1st controller is a Bluetooth Clicker, leak suggestsFebruary 24, 2016 - 17:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A huge leak has sprung from Microsoft's HoloLens department, with details about its interface and start menu spilling out into the open, Digital Spy said. Twitter user WalkingCat has revealed details about the AR headset's first controller. Dubbed the Bluetooth Clicker, it's a refreshingly minimalist peripheral. Strapping to the user's finger using an elastic band, the Clicker appears to sport a one-button interface, suggesting it will be used for basic navigation. As HoloLens also supports headtracking, voice commands and 'air-tipping', the Clicker is just part of its interface - but don't be surprised if Microsoft reveals a more robust control pad for the headset in the future, given that gaming is a key area of focus. The Twitter leak also offers a clear look at the HoloLens start screen and some of its interface features, as a demo video for an AR app called Actiongram which was bundled in with the Bluetooth Clicker diagrams. Actiongram superimposes cartoon characters, text, and other holographic imagery across the HoloLen wearer's field of vision, and seeing it in action reveals 'air-tapping' and the headset's quick start menu at play. Microsoft hasn't officially announced the Clicker accessory or Actiongram, but there's no evidence to suggest either is some kind of elaborate hoax.
