The 1975 unleash new video for “The Sound”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Whether you love or hate The 1975, you'll probably enjoy their new video of 'The Sound' - in which they face their critics head-on by having common insults of them appear on screen, Gigwise said.

The video, taken from their second album I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It, sees the band in their new pink aesthetic, performing in a modern art space - when critics come to pass their judgement.

Among the critiques are 'Do people still really make music like this?', 'Terrible high-pitched vocals', Punch-your-TV obnoxious', Unconvincing emo lyrics', 'They're essentially making robotic Huey Lewis tunes', 'This band thinks it has a charismatic singer...' and 'I heard 'Chocolate' Once And Hated It'.

The 1975, who release their difficult (to pronounce) second album I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It today, are also hitting the road next week.
