Placebo to announce 20th anniversary world tour

PanARMENIAN.Net - Placebo have teased fans over an impending announcement of a special 20th anniversary world tour, Gigwise reports.

The band, who began celebrating their anniversary last year after a triumphant UK tour, look set to bring things full circle with an epic run of shows celebrating their colourful and acclaimed career, Gigwise said/

Taking to Facebook, the band shared a video consisting of photos from throughout their career, backed by the classic 'Pure Morning' - telling fans to await an announcement on Monday 13 March, before a pre-sale begins on Wednesday. The shows are going under the monicker of 'A Place For Us To Dream' - a lyric from fan favourite 'Narcoleptic'.

Placebo were close friends and collaborators with David Bowie, and Brian Molko made headlines last year with his touching, heartfelt tribute to him earlier this year following his death.
